When Happiness Feels Unattainable, Try Gratitude


There are times when happiness seems just out of reach.


In those moments, shifting our focus from pursuing happiness to practising gratitude can make a world of difference.


By appreciating the small things in life, we lay the groundwork for happiness to naturally follow.


Simple, daily thoughts of gratitude can transform our perspective and brighten our days.


Give it a go: Start by acknowledging the little things that bring you joy. For instance, "I'm grateful for the warmth of the sun on my face," "I'm grateful for the aroma of freshly brewed tea," "I'm grateful for the laughter of my loved ones," or "I'm grateful for the comfort of my favourite chair."


These small acknowledgements can gradually build up to a greater sense of happiness and contentment.
